WELCOME

Located at 50 Hillside Road, Greenville, Alexis I. duPont High School was founded in 1893. Originally housed at 3130 Kennett Pike, the school moved to its present location in 1966. The provider of secondary education in the former Alexis I. duPont School District until 1978, it is now one of five high schools in the Red Clay Consolidated School District. Building on a tradition of excellence, Alexis I. duPont High School welcomes the challenges of the twenty-first century.

Beginning Chinese classes being offered to students, parents, and faculty!

McKean High School, Tuesday nights, beginning Feb 28

This class is an introduction to Chinese for beginners. You will learn basic vocabulary, useful phrases, and much more. Since the two instructors are visiting from China, you will also learn about Chinese history, geography, culture, traditions, and traditional foods.

Midterm Exam Schedule

Midterms begin on January 17th

The schedule is as follows:
1/17 - periods 1 & 2
1/18 - periods 5 & 6
1/19 – periods 3 & 4
1/20 - periods 7 & 8

Students only need to attend the periods when they have an exam. Exam times are 7:35am – 9:30am and 9:35 – 11:20am
