The mission of Business Professionals of America is to contribute to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, and technological skills. 
Chinese Club
The mission of the Chinese Club is to introduce and promote Chinese language learning and Chinese culture to the school and the community by providing club members with various culturally relevant activities and events.

• DECA
DECA is a high school division of the international association of Delta Epsilon Chi.DECA is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service. At Alexis I duPont High School DECA provides students with real world business experiences, volunteer opportunities and the ability to create business contacts.
• Environmental Action Club (EAC)
The Environmental Action Committee works to recycle materials throughout the school and further knowledge of and appreciation of the world around us and inform people about problems related to the environment.
• FCCLA: Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
FCCLA is a national student organization that helps young men and women become strong leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences.

• Freshman Board
The purpose of the Freshman Board is to prepare freshmen to participate in student government. Freshman Board also works to build a Homecoming Float, raise funds for Junior Prom, and work with Student Council.

• Drama Club
The Drama club’s mission is to learn to appreciate the different forms of theatre by exploration and by attending and participating plays in the area.
• Junior Board
To promote school spirit To encourage community involvement, volunteerism, and activism as a life long contributing member of society, To encourage leadership roles among the officers and board members.

• Key Club
Our mission is to provide the school and the community volunteer service.

• Math League
Purpose of Math League is to increase mathematical knowledge and foster friendly competition between individuals and schools. Math League members use technology to solve problems and learn to solve math problems in a creative way.

• Mock Trial
Learn about legal procedures and practices to display in a court-like situation. Join a team to improve your critical thinking and public speaking skills and enjoy it!

• National Honor Society
The National Honor Society was created in 1921 as a way of recognizing character, scholarship, leadership, and service in our top secondary school students.

• Photography Club
The Photography club is an after school club offered to any student, school wide, interested in learning more about all aspects of photography. Students will receive loose guidelines for various photo assignments to practice photography and Photoshop skills. Students will be required to bring their own digital camera. Out of school opportunities may be given to seriously driven students.

• School Newspaper: The Tiger Pause
Tiger Pause” is published to provide a public forum for the students, faculty, and staff of A.I. duPont High School to display information and to voice their opinions in a newspaper format. It also serves its student audience by providing truthful, unbiased information related to the school and student life as well as current news events.

• Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad prepares students to complete in state-wide Science Olympiad in March. Two teams of 15 students each compete in a number of different events, ranging from rocket-building to forensics.

• Senior Board
Senior Board provides active participation for members of the senior class. Students help plan special events such as Homecoming, Senior Ball, and graduation.

• Sophomore Board
The Sophomore Board works to develop camaraderie within the Sophomore Class, is responsible for all of our homecoming festivities, and raises funds for prom and graduation.

• Jefferson Awards Students in Action
Jefferson Awards Students in Action is a national youth recognition and reward program designed to pass the tradition of service and volunteerism on to the next generation of young Americans.

• Student Council
The mission of the Student Council is to represent the interests of the student body. Student Council conducts student activities and service projects within the school and the community.

Technology Student Association
The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs.
